Service Description

AloneGuard is a mobile application designed to help users perform regular safety check-ins and notify designated emergency contacts if a check-in is missed.

The Service may include features such as:

  • Manual daily check-ins
  • Reminder notifications
  • Emergency contact management
  • Automated email notifications to emergency contacts when a user fails to check in

The Service is intended as a personal safety support tool only.

Important Disclaimer (No Emergency or Medical Services)

AloneGuard is not an emergency response service, medical device, or life-saving system.

  • The App does not contact emergency services (such as 911 or local emergency numbers).
  • Notifications are sent only to the emergency contacts provided by the user.
  • Delivery of notifications depends on network availability, email systems, and third-party services, and is not guaranteed.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AloneGuard is provided on a best-effort basis
  • You are solely responsible for selecting appropriate emergency contacts and ensuring their contact information is accurate
  • The Service should not be relied upon as the sole means of ensuring personal safety

User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information (such as emergency contact details)
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not misuse the Service or use it for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or bypass security or technical safeguards
  • Not use the Service in a way that could cause harm, distress, or confusion to others

User Content

You may provide certain information or content within the App, such as:

  • Your display name
  • Names and email addresses of emergency contacts

You retain responsibility for any content you provide and represent that you have the right to provide such information.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

The Service and all associated content, features, design, and functionality are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
